On Saturday we went on a go see with the Tiger Cubs.
We went to Wherenberg Movie Theater to take a tour and see how it all works
The start of the tour.
Looking out the window where the movie projects on to the screen.

The second picture is the computer that controls the digital projector..
Film projector and the reels that the film is turned on to project the movie to the screen.

Splicing area, where they put the film they received together.
This also where they attach the advertisements at the beginning and end of films,
along with the previews.
Don’t know if you can see it or not.
But all the yellow in this film reel is the tape where they put the film together.
All this film is for one movie.

The go see was very informative.
Also very neat to see how it all works with the film and digitally.
We got a tour just in time because the theaters,
are going to digital before the end of the year.
